The issue highlighted in the article is plagiarism among the media. Everyone tries to have the brand new idea; however, the issue is that nothing really is a new idea. With the spread of the media, it has become more and more common to see different media ideas everyday.

Companies take advantage of this wide use of media and steal the ideas of others. Due to their positions, companies usually are able to get away with plagiarizing other people's ideas. Crime Junkies did not follow this normal trend. They were caught for plagiarism but given their power they were able to slide it under the rug.

Young media producers are usually not as lucky. They may be sued or have their media taken down from the platform which they posted it to. You tube is a common platform who takes down videos due to plagiarism.
