I. recently finished my story about Nicole Catalano and how she is a synchronized skater who helps little kids. The project definitely had its ups and downs. One night we were at the rink until 10 p.m. and we had been there for 5 hours. It was worth it in the end because we got the shots even though we were restricted to a small area. Also, when I filmed her Saturday practice with the little kids we were supposed to do 3 interview, but the little girl refused to talk when we put her in front of the camera. It was hard without her sound bites but we made it work by using nat sound. All in all, the project came out pretty well considering the challenges we faced.
