Fake News
Fake news is a significant problem in the film industry. The presence of fake news makes people skeptical of all media. This skepticism could result in the true media companies suffering because people may not trust this content. However, there will always be those gullible human beings who believe everything that they see on the internet. People are more intrigued by interesting stories so when the truth is bland companies may spice it up and add fake details so people will continue to read/watch their product.
There are several ways to avoid being fooled by this fake news. One method is to thoroughly think out is what I am reading even realistic. For example, the big news companies have had a lot of focus on our current outspoken president Donald Trump. Some news stations credit him for saving a bunch of jobs with the Carrier deal but the number of jobs projected was significantly higher than the true number. If thought out a person would realize that there is no way a man of such intelligence thought of this idea alone or initiated it without the help of several other individuals. The articles also avoid any negative contributions the deal may make which allows the reader/viewer to think of him as a true hero. Overall, a person must question and analyze the news that they are provided to ensure what they are witnesses is not fake news.
Make sure you know that all news is NOT fake. There is a small group that has gathered a bad reputation for their selfish mistakes. Some may think there is an obvious distinction between real and fake , but 82% of middle school students are not able to distinguish real and not correct news. These numbers truly shocked the researchers. It is important for adults to make sure their children know how to use the skills above so they do not fall for the deceptive trolls on the internet.
