The media has become a key part of life. It is an especially important part in children lives around the world. Several kids today have social media apps at ages as young as 4 years old. One major app that they use is an app known as Tik Tok. On this app, kids make and post videos of them lip syncing and/or dancing to songs.

This app has brought a new wave of celebrities who have now been placed in the position as role models for these children. Parents are hesitant to allow their children to use this app because they believe these "celebrities" will corrupt their children.

Recently, the New York times published an article on this app and explained what it is and how it works. Articles like these use their content to persuade parents whether or not their children should use the app.
